Things to know

What is Hot Mat Pilates?

Hot Mat Pilates is a low-impact, Pilates-inspired class performed in a gently heated studio to
help muscles warm faster, improve mobility, and support deeper, more controlled movement.

Do I need Pilates experience?

No. Classes are suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. Every session offers
guidance and options so you can move at your own pace.

How hot is the studio?

The studio is gently heated, not extreme. The warmth is designed to support movement and
flexibility without feeling overwhelming.

What should I bring to class?

A mat, water, and a towel are recommended. Grip socks are optional but encouraged for
comfort and stability.

How is Hot Mat different from Reformer Pilates?

Classes can be booked online through our timetable. We operate a clear cancellation policy,
which can be viewed at booking to ensure fairness for all members.

Is it safe if I have injuries or medical conditions?

Hot Mat uses bodyweight-based movement on the mat, while Reformer uses resistance
equipment. Both build strength and control, but Hot Mat focuses more on flow and
heat-enhanced mobility.

Can I do Hot Mat alongside Reformer classes?

Absolutely. Many members use Hot Mat to complement Reformer sessions for balance,
recovery, and flexibility.
